Monthly Membership Services

  • Weekly Private Lessons

Membership Payments & Pricing

  • 30 Minute Lessons: $190 per month
  • 45 Minute Lessons: $260 per month
  • 60 Minute Lessons: $340 per month

Note Virtual lessons with Joe “Bearclaw” Burclaw qualify as premium lessons. Please inquire for pricing.

Monthly Membership Terms

Payments

• Payments are deducted every month via auto-debit from the initial date of registration.

• If a payment processing problem is not resolved within 7 days of the due payment, a $15 charge will be added.

• Yearly Membership Fee: A $35 yearly fee will be processed upon your initial registration and on September 1st of each following school year. This fee will help to cover the membership services listed above, including lesson materials provided by the teacher ($50+ value), open studio ($60 + value) and piano/instrument maintenance and tuning ($125 + value) for the recitals.

Lesson Termination

One month’s notice is required via e-mail to joe@bearclawsacademyofmusic.com if a student wishes to pause or stop lessons. Payments for lessons will be canceled exactly one month from the date notice is given.

Attendance

Students are expected to attend lessons regularly. Please give your teacher sufficient notice if you need to miss a lesson. Students who are unable to attend a lesson in person or are sick may opt for a virtual lesson with given notice by the student or parent/guardian to your teacher. If the virtual make-up lesson is not scheduled by the student or parent/guardian within the monthly billing cycle the lesson will be permanently canceled and become void of use going forward.

Open Studio

Twice a year, your teacher will offer and optional hour-long afternoon Open Studio group class. Open Studios can be used to hone students’ skills before the recital and/or make-up for any additional missed lessons.

Saturday, December 6, 2025 (1-2pm)
Saturday, June 6, 2026 (1-2pm)

Holidays

We are closed on the following major holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving, The Day After Thanksgiving, December 24th – January 4th, Easter Sunday, Spring Break April 13th-17th 2026, Memorial Day, Juneteenth and July 4th

Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather, an e-mail will be sent two hours prior to the start of lessons. On inclement weather days, lessons will be virtual.
